Victory in unfamiliar ground

Isaiah 41:2-4 (NLT)

“Who has stirred up this king from the east,
rightly calling him to God’s service?
Who gives this man victory over many nations
and permits him to trample their kings underfoot?
With his sword, he reduces armies to dust.
With his bow, he scatters them like chaff before the wind.
He chases them away and goes on safely,
though he is walking over unfamiliar ground.
Who has done such mighty deeds,
summoning each new generation from the beginning of time?
It is I, the Lord, the First and the Last.
I alone am he.”

Are you walking through unfamiliar territory right now, embarking on projects and adventures that you have never undertaken before?

Is God opening up doors that are very different from your previous pathways? Do you find yourself in vulnerable places that require utter dependence on Him; challenges for God’s service that almost frighten you? If so, then this promise is for you!

You will have victory over your enemies in this unfamiliar land. You can enter into this new calling, new job, new relationship or new location with a confidence that God will chase away your enemies and give you the nations before you.

Whatever you are heading into, be reassured that He has given you all that you need to succeed in this foreign place.

And it won’t be foreign for long because you will rule in the land, occupying territory and seeing opposition crumble as He goes before you.

This is your defining moment in time!

Matthew 27:50-51a (NLT)

“Then Jesus shouted out again, and he released his spirit. At that moment the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom.”

The curtain being torn is prophetic of this season now.

This tearing illustrates doing away with the old and entering into the new. Such as turning from religious customs and traditions and embracing a new life in Jesus Christ. It may be new projects and challenges or new territory and new beginnings.

This was the turning point in history and so it is with your life right now. It is a new season! Expect access like never before into places, into positions and into the lives of people. But most importantly a greater access into the supernatural miraculous power of God and intimacy with Him.

This is your moment; your suddenly moment which separates what has been with what is to come.

A moment in time

Matthew 27:50-51a (NLT)

Then Jesus shouted out again, and he released his spirit. At that moment the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom.

The curtain being torn is representative of what is happening right now in this season.

This suddenness of change is echoing what is to come. The tearing illustrates doing away with the old and entering into the new. Turning from what was, and embracing a vast array of new projects and challenges; new territory and new beginnings.

This was a turning point in history, as it is pivotal right now. Expect access like never before into places, into positions, into the lives of people and most importantly a greater outpouring of the supernatural and intimacy with God.

This is your moment, your suddenly moment which separates what has been with what is to come. Bring on 2019!
