True worshippers

A few days ago in a worship session I felt the Lord saying to His people…

“I’m calling forth my true worshippers, those who worship in spirit and in truth. Those who are not moved by the cares of the world but the cares of My heart.
They are willing to obey at any cost. These are my true worshippers who will lead the way. They will bring heaven to earth!”

Is this you? Does this resonate in the your Spirit? Rise up passionate worshipper. You are chosen for the this hour!

Undone

Song of Songs 6:5 (TPT)

Turn your eyes from me; I can’t take it anymore! I can’t resist the passion of these eyes that I adore. Overpowered by a glance, my ravished heart—undone. Held captive by your love, I am truly overcome! For your undying devotion to me is the most yielded sacrifice.

Have you ever felt this undone in His presence? Have you ever been so completely captivated by His love as the author is here?

I pray that as you meditate on this scripture today, you would experience this level of intimacy toward Him but also know that His devotion to you is beyond what you could ever fathom; a living sacrifice.

I will meet with you

Exodus 29:43 (NLT)

“I will meet the people of Israel there, in the place made holy by my glorious presence.”

There is nothing more frustrating than waiting for someone you are supposed to be meeting with. What’s happened to them? Are they coming, stuck in traffic or have they forgotten?

Well God is waiting to meet with us as He did with the people of Israel. He wants to meet us in a Holy place.

That place is made holy by the blood of Jesus and that place is right here, right now.

If you are a born again Christian the presence of the Holy Spirit is with you now wherever you may be, making you holy before God.

This is His promise; that He will meet with you right where you are.

Open your spiritual eyes and ears to experience the presence of Jesus in your living room, office, school or garden.

Let Him permeate your being, drawing you closer as you meditate on Him. He desires and is waiting to meet with you. Don’t keep Him waiting any longer.

Spirit led dance

1 Thessalonians 4:1-3 (MSG)

“One final word, friends. We ask you—urge is more like it—that you keep on doing what we told you to do to please God, not in a dogged religious plod, but in a living, spirited dance. You know the guidelines we laid out for you from the Master Jesus. God wants you to live a pure life.”

Paul is urging us as he was the Thessalonian church, to follow after the things of the Spirit and not get caught up in habitual religious ways.

To pursue things that are pleasing to God and avoid repetition that is not producing fruit.

We need to be full of life and moving with God as in a dance, hearing His every heart beat. So intimate in fact that we know His next move, working with Him to create a unified masterpiece.

Religion will try and steal from us our smoothness of movement and closeness with God. It will prompt us to act out of convenience or formulas, thereby distracting us from the better path God has for us.

PICTURE YOURSELF DANCING WITH JESUS.

You need to be in close to Him as He spontaneously leads you in different directions. If you’re not close you will stumble and fall or go the wrong way.

Make a decision to move in close and draw near to Jesus because He is longing to create a living, spirited dance with YOU.

Draw near

Jeremiah 29:12-14 (MSG)

“When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I’ll listen.”When you come looking for me, you’ll find me. “Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I’ll make sure you won’t be disappointed.” God’s Decree. “I’ll turn things around for you. I’ll bring you back from all the countries into which I drove you”—God’s Decree—”bring you home to the place from which I sent you off into exile. You can count on it.

God’s message is clear. When we come to Him He will come to us and He will listen. He’s waiting for us to make the first move.

The question is are you serious about finding Him? Do you really want Him more than anything else? His presence? His guidance? His forgiveness? and His peace?

It’s all available for those who will build a relationship with Him. Relationship requires time with God. This is simply speaking with Him in every circumstance, bringing your needs, dreams and hopes before Him.

Time spent brings about intimacy. As you do this the promise is clear. It’s inevitable. He will turn things around for you. Do you want things turned around? Draw close to Him and you won’t be disappointed. His word says, “You can count on it!”
