PROPHETIC DREAM: Emergency call from New York to the world

On Thursday I woke from an interesting dream that I believe is a prophetic picture of what we are experiencing now throughout the world.

I dreamed I was in New York visiting a friend. We were about to begin a prayer meeting in a high rise building when all of a sudden a very loud, ear-piercing alarm resounded throughout the building.

A voice over a PA system said “It appears the emergency is real. Please run. EVERYONE RUN!”

People looked around for confirmation and then bolted for the exits in an almighty stampede. Not knowing if it was fire, bomb, hurricane, earthquake or some other threat that happens over there, I told my daughter to run ahead of us.

We lost her in the crowd running down the stairs and I realised it wasn’t just an emergency inside the building, but the whole city was running, along with the rest of the world!

Fear and panic had gripped the entire globe. I waited for the usual “emergency stand down” announcement but it never came. People just eventually stopped running.

I awoke to God revealing the interpretation…

It was quite clear to me that this was the covid19 virus that has caused a shake up across the world. It was an unknown and unfamiliar emergency when the sirens began ringing out. The loud speaker announcement is representative of the media telling us to run, bringing panic and chaos.

The thing about this dream that I couldn’t shake was the fact that the code/emergency was never stood down.

I believe that although people are still at a heightened level of response, it is up to us to stop running! We may never hear the media saying the threat is “stood down” and safe to resume normal activities again.

Shake off fear, shake off ‘fight or flight’ response, give someone a hug and walk in obedience to what God is saying to you.

Here come the “dreamers”

Genesis 37:26‭-‬28 (NLT)
Judah said to his brothers, “What will we gain by killing our brother? We’d have to cover up the crime. Instead of hurting him, let’s sell him to those Ishmaelite traders. After all, he is our brother—our own flesh and blood!” And his brothers agreed. So when the Ishmaelites, who were Midianite traders, came by, Joseph’s brothers pulled him out of the cistern and sold him to them for twenty pieces of silver. And the traders took him to Egypt.

It was because of Joseph’s dreams that his brothers were jealous. The father’s favour on his life made them want to kill him.

But Judah, whose name means ‘praise’, was the one who saved his life.

Yes, PRAISE saved his life! Praise stopped the enemy taking him out.

So Joseph was sold, but this trip to Egypt with the traders actually made his dream come to pass.

PRAISE made way for the Dreamer!

Are you a dreamer? Has God put dreams, visions and plans on your heart?

Now is the time for the Dreamers to arise and it is praise that will go before you and make a way for your dreams to become a reality.

Don’t despise small beginnings

Zechariah 4:10a (NLT)
Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.”

Every big dream starts out small.

Your project, business, group, organisation or vision may be in the beginning stages and just getting off the ground. It may appear insignificant.

This new adventure may look like just a seed compared to what you see it becoming.

That’s OK, God says. Don’t despise the initial beginnings of this work.
He rejoices that you have stepped out and begun to til the hard ground in front of you.

Keep your eye on the goal. Focus on the bigger picture and as you remember back to where you began, you will praise God that you didn’t give up!

“No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.” -Jesus (Luke 9:62)

Like those who dream

Psalm 126:1-6 (AMP)

When the Lord brought back the captives [who returned] to Zion, we were like those who dream [it seemed so unreal].
Then were our mouths filled with laughter, and our tongues with singing. Then they said among the nations, The Lord has done great things for them.
The Lord has done great things for us! We are glad!
Turn to freedom our captivity and restore our fortunes, O Lord, as the streams in the South (the Negeb) [are restored by the torrents].
They who sow in tears shall reap in joy and singing.
He who goes forth bearing seed and weeping [at needing his precious supply of grain for sowing] shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

Does what you’re believing for feel at times like a dream, so unreal and so glorious that if God were to fulfil it, you would be completely overwhelmed yet so full of gratitude toward Him? A ‘pinching yourself’ moment?

Well that’s the type of dream God is searching to fulfil. He desperately wants to complete what He has promised for you and is longing to bless you. You may feel like you have been exiled to a foreign land but the exiles are coming home.

He is not only going to bring this dream to pass but fill you with laughter and singing as well!

You might look around and not feel like laughing and singing just yet, but you will. Those seeds you have sown in the hard times have not gone unnoticed. That precious seed is so valuable because of the difficulty and struggle required to plant it.

You are about to reap a glorious harvest that will turn your weeping into rejoicing and singing. You will surely proclaim “The Lord has done great things for me!”

Gideon (part 2): The enemy knows you have won

Judges 7:9-15 MSG
‘That night, God told Gideon: “Get up and go down to the camp. I’ve given it to you. If you have any doubts about going down, go down with Purah your armor bearer; when you hear what they’re saying, you’ll be bold and confident.” He and his armor bearer Purah went down near the place where sentries were posted. Midian and Amalek, all the easterners, were spread out on the plain like a swarm of locusts. And their camels! Past counting, like grains of sand on the seashore!

13 Gideon arrived just in time to hear a man tell his friend a dream. He said, “I had this dream: A loaf of barley bread tumbled into the Midianite camp. It came to the tent and hit it so hard it collapsed. The tent fell!”

14 His friend said, “This has to be the sword of Gideon son of Joash, the Israelite! God has turned Midian—the whole camp!—over to him.”

15 When Gideon heard the telling of the dream and its interpretation, he went to his knees before God in prayer. Then he went back to the Israelite camp and said, “Get up and get going! God has just given us the Midianite army!”.’

God needed to show Gideon that he should put his full trust in Him to win the victory so He gave him a prophetic word through a dream. That confirmation message came right out of the enemy’s mouth. He overheard a man telling his friend of a dream he had, and he even heard the interpretation: that the whole camp would be given over to Gideon. Imagine listening to the enemy talking about you defeating them. What a relief for Gideon, considering that God had previously cut his army down to just three hundred men!

Even though the opposition may be many in number, God will give you a peace and a confirmation to go forth and conquer this battle you are up against.

This affirmation may come in variety of ways from dreams or visions, to prophetic words, or signs or even circumstances. Ask Him for the green light, march forth and attack. The enemy knows you have won over him. He knows that all his plans are useless because you serve a victorious and faithful God!

Dream: A moment with the King (Part 2)

Meet Heidi a 4 year old girl who encounters Jesus in her dream giving a significant prophetic word for God’s people. In this video she encourages others from a child’s perspective to be themselves by taking off their face paint. It’s time for the body of Christ to be real, remove their masks, stop pretending and be all that He made them to be!

Dream: A moment with the King (Part 1)

In August I had a dream that I strongly believe is a now word for God’s people…

I had the privilege of serving king Charles (he was the king, not a prince), all the way from Bendigo to Melbourne on the train. Yes he was traveling on the good old vline rattler!
My role was to talk to him. Get to know him and do whatever he requested of me.

There was a big problem. I didn’t know him or what he liked so I did some research beforehand and discovered that he liked cheese and biscuits. But what sort I had no idea. Would tasty cheese do the job and did he have poppy seeds on his savoys? One thing I knew, I was not going to use any Aussie slang or seem like a farmers daughter. No. I would act proper and show etiquette.

So the whole trip I tried to spark up a conversation with the king but without knowing him it was awkward and non intimate. There were weird silences and I tried to please him but to no avail.

This is a message for many in the body of Christ at this time. We know of Jesus, we know about Him but we don’t know Him intimately. We can ask others what He is like and what He likes but the only way we can know Him intimately is by spending time in His presence; talking to Him, meditating on Him and reading His Word. He is The Word.

Don’t just listen to what others are saying about Him, know Him for yourself. And be yourself! Don’t try acting like you think a Christian should behave to fit in. No, be yourself, (who He created you to be) and remove your mask.

Maybe the King wants to meet a simple Aussie farmers daughter and maybe He wants to meet you, the real you.

Watch this space to discover how God has since confirmed this message through another dream. But wait until you see who it came to.
