WEEKLY PROPHETIC MESSAGE: Beware of the Michal’s!

David had hit the high of all highs! He was pumped, elated and unashamedly proclaiming his victory in a public display of jubilant celebration!

‘So David and all the people of Israel brought up the Ark of the Lord with shouts of joy and the blowing of rams’ horns.’(2 Samuel 6:15 NLT)

David had every reason to triumphantly praise and thank God for the mighty blessing of having the ark back. The presence of God had come to the City of David and despite wearing only his priestly garment, he was not holding back.

But David was strongly rebuked and criticised by Michal (Saul’s daughter) for dancing before the Lord and she despised him. (See 2 Sam 6:16)

Don’t be surprised when your passionate worship and celebration dance stirs up the Michal’s around you! Those that want to steal your freedom to worship extravagantly will come knocking.

Not everyone will be joining in with you as this next victory breakthrough causes joy and thanksgiving to come bubbling out of you.

But, you just keep your eyes on Him, keep your praise flowing, your victory moves pumping, blow your horn, jump, clap, shout and dance as David did! When the glory hits you, you will dance like never before!

Release your gifts!

What are your gifts? What’s been put within you that leaves others uplifted?

Now is the time to stir up your gifts and fan them into flame! (2 Timothy 1:6) Be bold and courageous and put them into practice.

Allow God to move in you and through you to motivate, help and bless those around you.

We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
Romans 12:6‭-‬8 (NIV)

Just think—you don’t need a thing, you’ve got it all! All God’s gifts are right in front of you as you wait expectantly for our Master Jesus to arrive on the scene for the Finale.

WEEKLY PROPHETIC MESSAGE: Coming out of this without a scratch.

Passionate and devoted sons and daughters of God are encountering intensifying persecution, opposition and intimidation in various forms.

The lies, attacks and threats have been relentless and you may feel like you’ve been through a shipwreck but God says “You will come out without even a scratch”!

Acts 27:33-34 (MSG)
With dawn about to break, Paul called everyone together and proposed breakfast: “This is the fourteenth day we’ve gone without food. None of us has felt like eating! But I urge you to eat something now. You’ll need strength for the rescue ahead. You’re going to come out of this without even a scratch!”

So not matter how loud their threats become, no matter how fierce the raging sea engulfing you, gather some strength for the rescue. Hang in there, keep standing cause when this storm ends…

He will not only get you safely on dry land but you will come out of this without even a scratch.

WEEKLY PROPHETIC MESSAGE: Rise up “no names”

The strangest thing happened yesterday. I received an important letter in the mail that I’d been waiting on addressed to…get this: “No Name”! 😆

Was this some sort of joke? I actually stood at the mail box looking at the typed up letter and having a good ol’ chuckle to myself!

Then God revealed to me that He is raising up and calling forth the “no names”. They are those that have no title nor honourary position, but are hidden and are quietly going about their work with the Lord.

There were some names that He brought to my mind of such people, but there are many I’m yet to be shown due to their “hiddenness”.

They are intimate in prayer, sitting at the Masters feet gleaning from Him, eager to receive their next step. They are not concerned with seeking recognition or fame.

Recently I watched the movie “Hidden Figures” which reveals the mathematitians behind the astronaut John Glenn’s launch into orbit. They were unseen, unrecognised women that changed history. Another confirmation.

For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.
Galatians 1:10 (ESV)

WEEKLY PROPHETIC MESSAGE: The power to gain wealth

I sense the Lord bringing a great harvest of abundance to His people. There is a transfer of resources appearing as His children focus their attention on the Giver and are obediantly pursuing the mission, project or assignment He has spoken.

This finance is coming from unusual places as well as a result of strategies He has previously impressed upon us. What looks like small amounts are accumulating to accomplish projects that have sat on the shelf for a long time.

“No more procrastinating”, says the Lord. “You will gather all you need and beyond, so now is the time”.

But remember that the Lord your God gives you the power to gain wealth, in order to confirm his covenant he swore to your fathers, as it is today. (Deuteronomy 8:‬18 CSB)

Australia on fire

As I watch these ferocious fires sweep across our land, my heart goes out to not only my family who have lost properties, stock and machinery, but the thousands of Australians who are displaced, afraid and grieving.

This is a stark reminder of just how precious every life is and how short our time here.

It’s also a reminder that material things we value can be burned up in an instant and to check our reliance upon such things.
1 Timothy 6:7
After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it.

It’s easy to get distracted by glamorous houses, fancy cars and special conveniences while subconsciously making idols of these things.

Anything that takes our time and focus off Him is an idol.

Psalm 135:15 (TPT)
The unbelieving nations worship what they make. They worship their wealth and their work. They idolize what they own and what they do.

As we reflect on the situation around us let’s gather together in prayer and declare…
By your mighty power I can walk through any devastation and you will keep me alive, reviving me.
Psalms 138:7a (TPT)

2020 A year of NEW WINE!

After seeking the Lord regarding this new year I heard the words “new wine”.

2020 will be a time of fresh advancements, new strategies and ideas as well as new investments (time and money).

The successes we encounted last year grew up alongside strong trials and opposition. But as this new wine begins flowing by prayer and intercession we will have the upper hand over these adversities and spiritual battles.

But for us to be vessels for this new wine we must discard our old wineskins. Old ideas, old habits, things that are no longer fruitful or time wasters must all be left behind as we advance into this era.

“And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the old skins would burst from the pressure, spilling the wine and ruining the skins. New wine is stored in new wineskins so that both are preserved.” (Matthew 9:17 NLT)

Don’t burst under pressure from the new wine He’s giving you, be a NEW wine skin and stretch and mould to whatever the Holy Spirit wants to do through you and in you in 2020!

Now is your time to arise and shine!

Psalms 96:2‭-‬3 (TPT)
Don’t stop! Keep on singing! Make his name famous! Tell everyone every day how wonderful he is. Give them the good news of our great Savior. Take the message of his glory and miracles to every nation. Tell them about all the amazing things he has done.

We need to take every opportunity this Christmas to declare the wonderful news of Jesus.

There are a lot of people who don’t know the full meaning of Christmas and there’s no better time than now to share the GOOD NEWS!

Don’t hold back when opportunities arise.
People are open and ready. So bring in the harvest and see lives transformed.

Arise and shine for your light has come! You are the light this world is looking for!

“Hello? Anyone there?”

Overworked? Overburdened? Tired and drained?
God is calling out to us to allow Him full access into our busy schedule. He is wanting to break in and get involved in our daily activity, our career, our preparations, our organisations, our work, our study and our play.

Psalms 90:17 (TPT)
O Lord our God, let your sweet beauty rest upon us and give us favor. Come work with us, and then our works will endure, and give us success in all we do.

The psalmist echoes the heart cry of the people today: for God to help us, to work with us and be a part of the opportunities we are faced with.

As we team with Him, the burden is lifted, the load is lightened and we will operate in a renewed strength.

So whatever you are working on, helping with, or striving to accomplish, don’t bust your gut on your own. Get God involved, bring Him into the picture, glean from Him and most importantly UNITE with Him to see it done His way and you will succeed in all you do!
