WEEKLY PROPHETIC MESSAGE: The power to decree

Yesterday I saw in the spirit believers walking around with signet rings. They were given the power to overturn demonic forces but very few of them were actually using them.

Their heads were downcast, overcome with defeat and oppression but as they began to open their mouths and prophesy victory and tear down these forces of darkness, things began to shift. They were putting a seal on their words.

They replaced lies spoken over them with the truth. They identified strong principalities and powers over regions and brought them down by using the very tools God had given them to overcome.

It was a contagious event. As one began to speak out, others followed. There was a surge of positive declarations across borders and a great unity of declarations intensified to conquer battles that had been raging across governments for decades.

As we also begin to take our authority over the darkness we encounter, we will see a great and mighty move of the Spirit upon our regions and nations for Jesus.

Your order has the authority of The King. It’s a weighty responsibility but one that must be taken up.

The greatest Gift

As you give and receive gifts this Christmas RECEIVE HIM!

Receive Him as you prepare food. Receive Him as you listen to worship music. Receive Him as you watch children playing. Receive Him as you meditate on His birth.

Breathe Him in and receive fullness of life. Receive JOY, receive HEALTH, receive FAVOUR, receive LOVE.

And praise Him for all you’ve received!

May you be overwhelmed with His presence and consumed with His love this Christmas!

A stirring of spirits to act, to BUILD!

There is certainly a stirring amongst God’s people right now. It’s an excitement, an expectation for what He is about to BUILD and create through us!

Haggai 1:13b-14 (NIV)
“I am with you,” declares the Lord . So the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of the whole remnant of the people. They came and began to work on the house of the Lord Almighty, their God.

Just like in Haggai’s time, people are coming together with common vision and purpose to BUILD the kingdom of God, His house, and see it established in this time.

As we focus on building His house and not our own (v10), we will make room for His presence and glory. We will see miracles, healings and favour like never before!

Everything is yours!

Check out the response of the older son…

Luke 15:30‭-‬31 (TPT)
But look at this son of yours! He comes back after wasting your wealth on prostitutes and reckless living, and here you are throwing a great feast to celebrate—for him!’ “The father said, ‘My son, you are always with me by my side. Everything I have is yours to enjoy.

What the older son didn’t realise was that his father had given him access to everything he owned! The whole estate.

He never even asked!

What are you missing out on that you haven’t asked God for?

The older son was so consumed with pleasing the father and ticking all the boxes, that he had made himself like an orphan.

All the while everything he wanted was right in front of him through his relationship with his father.

Are you avoiding asking God for something because you don’t think He will give it to you?

Ask. Believe. Receive.

He is more than able to give to you what you ask for.

For I will do whatever you ask me to do when you ask me in my name. And that is how the Son will show what the Father is really like and bring glory to him.
John 14:13 (TPT)

Wake up! Be ready!

Romans 13:11 (NIV)
And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.

It is crucial to understand the present time, what God’s doing in our midst.

We need a spiritual awareness of the hour that we live in and how we are to be a part of the end time harvest.

This is a wake up call to prepare us to be alert, always praying and spiritually equipped for what is to come.

Don’t be caught napping. He needs us all to be ready and eager to do His will.

Reflecting His glory

I just LOVE how Jesus describes worship for believers of our time.

He is clearly not concerned where we go to worship, our title or method. All He asks is that we live an authentic lifestyle of worship from the inside…

John 4:21‭-‬24 (MSG)
“Believe me, woman, the time is coming when you Samaritans will worship the Father neither here at this mountain nor there in Jerusalem. You worship guessing in the dark; we Jews worship in the clear light of day. God’s way of salvation is made available through the Jews. But the time is coming—it has, in fact, come—when what you’re called will not matter and where you go to worship will not matter. “It’s who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That’s the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship. God is sheer being itself—Spirit. Those who worship him must do it out of their very being, their spirits, their true selves, in adoration.”

So who is God looking for?

True worshipers that are really living Christ out in their day to day lives.

Be yourself before Him and others. Let worship flow from your heart. Reflect His glory and be extravagant as you show him HIS WORTH!

Acts of kindness

Luke 10:33-35 (NIV)
But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’

What an amazingly selfless act by this Samaritan. He went above and beyond in caring for this man.

We are faced with opportunities every day to help others in need. Be on the lookout and ready to respond with random acts of kindness.

Be that neighbour. Don’t worry about who’s responsibility it is or who “should” help. Just be a neighbour to whoever needs one at the time.

Jesus exhorts us to “go and do likewise” (v37). He will divinely position us where there is need of a merciful act such as this.

Perhaps your name will one day be told from heaven in a story like this one.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
Matthew 5:16 (NIV)

It’s happening whether you’re in it or not!

Esther 4:12-14 (NIV)
When Esther’s words were reported to Mordecai, he sent back this answer: “Do not think that because you are in the king’s house you alone of all the Jews will escape. For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”

Mordecai makes it very clear that no matter what, God is going to answer his prayer for the Jews deliverance and do a mighty miracle. His faith-relationship with God is at such a great level through his fasting and praying.

However Esther has a choice to make.

She can be used of God in this mighty miracle or not. It’s her decision.

We have a decision to make in this move of God that’s coming upon us. Are we in or are we out?

Do you want to be a part of what God Is doing in this hour?
It’s coming upon us like a tsunami whether we sense it or not, so we might as well get ready for this wave of glory!

You also are ‘positioned for such a time as this!’ (v14)

Like the winter rains

If you live around Melbourne Australia this one’s for YOU!

Hosea 6:3 (NIV)
Let us acknowledge the Lord ; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.”

He is surely coming to us with all the winter rain we’ve been blessed with this week!

Just one way God shows His faithfulness is through winter rain.

Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.
Deuteronomy 32:2 (NIV)

Saturate your people God! Fill us with refreshing rains. Heal us, teach us and wash away all our sins.
