When Joseph, being hated by his own brothers, is sold as a slave, unjustly accused, spending so much of his life in prison, finally rises to power and fulfills the dream he had as a boy, he responds to his brothers:
“You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.”(Genesis 50:20 NLT)
Joseph identifies how the enemy tried to take him out, but he understands God’s soveign hand upon his life. He knows His God! He sees the bigger plan. Yes, there is a much bigger plan!
Understand that what the enemy meant for harm in your life, God is turning around for GOOD for you also! What looks like a shamozzle is turning into the saving of souls.
Joseph carries the true father’s heart and calms them saying: “So then, don’t be afraid. I will provide for you and your children.’ And he reassured them and spoke kindly to them.(Genesis 50:21 NIVUK)
