Perhaps YOU are positioned for such a time as this!

Esther 4:12-14 (NIV)

When Esther’s words were reported to Mordecai, he sent back this answer: ‘Do not think that because you are in the king’s house you alone of all the Jews will escape. For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?’

After debating whether the time was right and if she was the one to approach the king, Esther finally agrees to her mandate.

Mordecai states an interesting fact: if Esther doesn’t save the people, she will not experience the freedom herself. In fact, everyone else will be exempt but she would remain in bondage if she doesn’t step out.

Our nation is experiencing such difficult times financially, morally and relationally. Drugs, crimes homosexuality, abortions, love of money, debt and divorce are all increasing as the nations turn from God in blatant defiance.

Perhaps you are in a situation where you have been chosen as a voice to bring the Kingdom of God to a hurting world.

Don’t hold back. Be encouraged by Esther. She was just a young girl but with an opportunity to save her people from being slaughtered and also to save herself from the effects of her country’s sin. Don’t be fooled, we are not exempt. Now is the time to stand up and be a voice of truth in our land.

‘If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.’ 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)
