Ezekiel 47:3-5 (NLT)
‘Measuring as he went, he took me along the stream for 1,750 feet and then led me across. The water was up to my ankles. He measured off another 1,750 feet and led me across again. This time the water was up to my knees. After another 1,750 feet, it was up to my waist. Then he measured another 1,750 feet, and the river was too deep to walk across. It was deep enough to swim in, but too deep to walk through.’
Are you being led deeper and deeper out of your comfort zone? Maybe you feel like you are up to your ankles, knees or even your waist in life’s challenges and new opportunities?
The good news is that once you get to this place there remains only one option. To step into the deep unknown waters and trust the Lord!
If you feel like you have come to a standstill, lunge into whatever God is showing you and start swimming.
In verse 8 of this same chapter we discover that this healing river even makes the waters of the Dead Sea fresh and pure! We need to bring these living waters to the dead and dark areas surrounding our lives and allow Jesus to cleanse and purify us.
As we do so shoots will spring forth from every area producing a harvest of health and provision.
